Chanukah (there are too many spellings of this word)

We celebrated Chanukuh (I'm probably spelling it wrong.) today at Nana's with Great Grandma and Grandpa Chester. (I believe Great Grandma likes to be called "Grammy".) Molly was a bit crabby at first and SCREAMED her head off. She went to sleep for a while and when she woke up from her nap she was better. She had a bottle and posed for some pictures. We had a great time and took some pictures of the four generations of girls while we had them together. Thanks for taking the time to visit the blog! (These pictures are not in the order I wanted, but oh well! Start from the bottom!)

Happy Chrismakuh!

We need a Jumbo Bumbo for Chrismakuh!

I know, it's been a long time since I have updated the blog. Sarah reminds me all the time. I'm busy and tired, sorry. We have been taking lots and lots of pictures so there are way too many to put on here!

Molly is great! She is smiling almost all the time and sleeping is much better at night. She is sleeping "through the night", so that's nice. Nana got us a Snuza. It's a little piece of equipment that clips on to the diaper. It monitors the movement of the belly and after 15 seconds without movement, it makes a sound and vibrates to get the baby to breathe. 5 more seconds without movement and it sounds a very loud alarm so that we can check on her. It's pretty nice and we are very happy Nana got it for us. They don't sell them in the U.S.A. yet, but they sent us one anyway! You are not supposed to put it on their back, but we did today while we were at Nana's. It seemed to work fine...

Molly is growing fast. 3 weeks ago I took her to the doctor and she weighed in at about 16 pounds, 3 ounces. She is probably 17 plus now. She is really cute and really pretty. She has beautiful brown eyes and beautiful long eye lashes. She melts Daddy's heart when she stares at me. Anyway, Sarah put her in the Bumbo seat again the other day. Her legs and belly are so big, she hardly fits in the Bumbo. I don't think they make a Jumbo Bumbo...

Grandma and Nana bought Molly little play pads with the bars and hangy stuff. I can't remember what they are called... Nana keeps hers at her house, but Grandma bought one for us to take home. Molly loves it most of the time. She plays and smiles and smacks and grabs. It's another "bright eyes" moment when she is playing with her new toy. Thanks for the toy, Grandma and Nana! One of these pictures is proof Molly is related to uncle Michael...

So that's it for this entry. I'm going to make a seperate one for Chanukuh because there are just too many pictures to put them all in this one... Enjoy!

Good times in the swing...(none of these pictures are actually of her in the swing)

Little Miss Molly has become quite fond of her reflection in the mirror on the mobile of her swing. She sees herself and just starts smiling and "talking". She gets very excited and kicks her cute little (very chubby) legs and flails her arms. It's the cutest thing. It's fun to watch her become more aware and perceptive of the things around her. Yesterday she was eating and I sat her up to have a burp...so she could have a burp, not me. She began to stare at a water bottle I had sitting next to me and gave it the biggest smile! She then spotted the wooden "police" bear on one of the shelves about 6 feet away. She gave him a big smile too! She smiles with her whole face and some times with her whole body, it seems. She also likes to smile at the ceiling fans, the couch and the walls! It's pretty funny. She is also making new sounds and some pretty funny faces. I think her favorite spot so far is the changing table. She just lights up when we lay her down. I think she is getting close to having a laugh, too. I can't wait...
I'm so happy to have her, my little Molly B.

Thanks to our guests for visiting us last weekend and bringing the great food! I'm glad you were able to come and share some time with Sarah, Molly and I!

Another first for Molly happened last weekend. She got to wear her first pair of jeans for the family photo shoot Mike and Randi set up for us. Molly was not feeling too well, so it was a rough day, but it was a beautiful day out and I'm thankful they did that for us! (Thanks to all the family for helping us that day.) She almost did not get to wear her jeans though, because we could hardly get them over her legs (even though they are sized for a 6 month old).

I have a bunch of pictures and videos from the camera on my cell phone. I hope to get a memory card for it soon so I can add them to the blog. Thanks to all of you who have been visiting the blog and for all of the compliments!
